Debbi Fitzgerald, 1986 B.S.B.A. in accountancy. Debbi has over 22 years of audit, advisory, process improvement and operational experience in numerous industries. Debbi Fitzgerald is the Arizona/New Mexico Advisory practice leader for Ernst & Young. Based in the Phoenix office, Debbi is responsible for all Advisory activities in Arizona and New Mexico. Debbi leads the practice in providing services to clients to identify revenue enhancement, cost savings opportunities, assess compliance with policies and procedures, to provide knowledge transfer and ongoing monitoring tools, and recommend improvements to enhance internal controls and operational performance. Debbi has assisted companies in the retail, higher education, aerospace and defense, managed care, utility, health care, and oil and gas industries with process and business system improvements, delivery of internal audit, IT advisory, project management services, IPO Readiness and forensic investigations.

Debbi has held Region leadership positions serving as the Risk Leader and Advisory Managing Partner for the Pacific Southwest Region from 2006 through 2009. She currently serves as Coordinating Partner on several Fortune 250 companies.

In addition to her client responsibilities, Debbi has been involved with the firm’s Diversity activities, including leading the Arizona Professional Women’s Network, and serving on the Americas Gender Equity Task Force for three years. Debbi is a Board Member on the Arizona State Board of Accountancy.

Debbi is married with three children. She received her B.S. degree from Northern Arizona University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.
