Pictures of the College of Business

In partnership with Arizona Public Service (APS), the Northern Arizona University The W. A. Franke College of Business has created the

NAU Professional Leadership Center.

This Center allows our students and faculty to use their talents to assist Arizona’s businesses, non-profits, community organizations, and government agencies.

The center allows students to combine their classroom learning with practical work experience through planned activities guided by faculty. The center links academic work with real world settings and needs through practice-oriented activity (such as service learning, internships, consulting teams, shadowing, and targeted problem analysis). Ultimately, the center provides state of the art career management (including diagnostic testing, self assessment, seminars, coaching, and mentoring) for students in NAU’s professional colleges throughout their college careers and continuing in a life-long learning partnership.

The FCB, the lead school, working with the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), will be the charter partners in achieving the goals of the center. As the partnership matures and goals are achieved for students, faculty, business and community, other professional schools will be added.

The NAU Professional Leadership Center creates learning and consulting opportunities for NAU students and faculty across Arizona. The internships and consulting provided benefit non-profit and community organizations and produce professional college graduates who understand the mutual obligations and partnering potential of business and community.
