CAIED Staff



Director

N. Levi Esquerra is a member of the Chemehuevi Indian Tribe and is currently Program Director for Northern Arizona University's Center for American Indian Economic Development. Prior to joining CAIED, Mr. Esquerra served as the Business Development Representative for the Arizona Commission of Indian Affairs. In the past, Mr. Esquerra has served as Tribal Chairman, Tribal Council Member, and Planner for his tribe.

Last year the U.S. Department of State invited Mr. Esquerra to Argentina to lecture on Economic Development for Indigenous Non-Governmental Organizations. The program was sponsored under the U.S. Department of State's Speaker and Specialist Program.

Patrick Gorlick has extensive experience in grant writing, public relations, and marketing. He has over seven years of experience with tribes and tribal concerns. Mr. Gorlick works part-time for CAIED and has his own grant writing company.

Crystal Morris, is currently a full-time student here at Northern Arizona University, majoring in Applied Indigenous Studies with an emphasis on Economic Development.
