Peter Alford - Career Summary
Pete Alford, Managing Director, is responsible for developing and managing JPMorgan Private Bank's client relationships in Arizona. Based in Scottsdale, Pete provides strategic advice and consultation to high net worth individuals, families and institutions/non-profits, coordinating access to internal specialists and external professional and client advisors. Pete has over 20 years of experience in investment management consulting, strategic and tactical asset allocation and alternative strategies, working in Toronto, Denver, London, New York and Chicago.
Before joining JPMorgan in 2003, Pete served as Vice President and Regional Director for Citigroup Smith Barney's Consulting Group. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association, serves as its membership chair, and is a graduate of the Wharton School's distinguished Certified Investment Management Analyst Program. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (BA - Economics), and the Daniels Business School at the University of Denver (MBA). He has earned the Certification of Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), and holds NASD Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
Pete enjoys skiing, cycling, golf, tennis, volunteering and travel.
